Edited; This is a beautiful place. Just probably not for exhausted business travelers. Please stay here if you are vacation or holiday!!

Business travelers beware! Do not stay here, this is a quaint, maybe romantic old country hotel. No air conditioning, windows open, but the room quickly fills with mosquitoes. No iron, or ironing board. No In room service, this place is quite ridiculous for a business traveller. I've just spent 5 hours running between incessantly delayed DB trains with luggage for a two week business trip and rolled in here after 16 hour business day and feel like tearing someone's head off.
Have fun fitting in the single, hot beds and ridiculous grandmothers room.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Nils S.Werther (Westfalen), Germany5110591 Apr 2009First to Review
Have stayed here twice as part of business meetings. The first time had an upgrade to a suite with steambath in the room, very relaxing. The modern rooms are fairly spacious, as well as the bathroom. Comfortable bed, and nice view to the surrounding area and Werse river.
Elegant dining room and bar. The fish (pike-perch) and steak were good (but expensive). Wide selection at breakfast.
Internet connection extremely expensive, but there is a free public terminal hiding down a hallway near the reception.
Large parking area, but can get muddy in the rain.
Difficult to find without GPS. Some limited signs, but it is about 3 km down a forest road.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
