Another amazing brasserie! This place is very known! You have to make reservation weeks ahead. It's definitely a must to try. It's a small restaurant with a big chef.

Everything was perfect from the starter to dessert. It was a memorable experience
Ive had mussels, gazpacho, sautéed mushroom, beef and veal. Everything was PHENOMENAL!! Now my favorite part "dessert"! god I have no words how to
Describe it but it was absolutely deliciousness. The grand mariner soufflé "yum yum yum" and the second favorite dessert which I don't member the name
Of it ...It's something with rhubarb purée topped with some kinda white cheese cream and berries sauce. It was EXCELLENT
      Service was outstanding!

A really great French restaurant, if not for the un-fresh fish that we were served.
Un restaurant très bon, mais le poisson ne était pas frais.

The quality of the food was great, though not as exceptional as some make it appear, especially the main courses. Don't get me wrong, it's well prepared and savory, but it isn't as refined as some people claim it to be (probably the reason why I had such high expectations). For the price, however, it truly is exceptional value.

However, the worst part was when the dorade that we had was completely un-fresh and had an unpleasant taste to it. In fact, we weren't even able to continue eating it after a few bites. We complained to the waiter, but since we had a tight schedule, we did not have the time to wait for the dish to be remade.

You'd expect such a fine restaurant to pay more attention to the quality of their ingredients, but they clearly didn't.

I must say, however, that their dessert, specifically the fraicheur de rhubarbe au fromage blanc et à la fraise, was spot-on. It was even better than some desserts I've had in high-end restaurants in Paris.

The service was ok, though not exceptional. Some waiters were friendly, while others not so much, especially after complaining about the fish. The overall atmosphere was very nice though, probably due to the casualness of the restaurant.

Other than the fish-fiasco, La Regalade is a fine restaurant that I would come back to and review again, as long as they make sure the fish is fresh next time.

Came here due to review by John Talbott and from Chowhound. For this price, the food is excellent. Gotta pay up on the supplements but they're well worth it.

Kicked off dinner with amazing pate, pickles and bread. Appetizer: had the seasonal green asparagus (they're thicker than thumb) which were perfectly tender served with fresh herbs. I think there are 5 stalks in that dish. Also had the scallops served in the shells. There were 3 of them (read below...)

Main dish: Paid 15 euro supplement for the whole pigeon stuffed with foie gras served over creamy mashed potatoes and herbs. It was rare and very tender and RICH!!! Other main dish was duck breast served over sauteed, diced turnip(?) and mushroom. Amazing and it was completely my fault I had ordered medium. I'd recommend rare.

Dessert: Rice pudding served in a massive porcelain bowl (basin!) with a wooden spatula and you get a mini-gravy boat of caramel. Also had the pot de creme with passion fruit on top. Delicious!

Why 4 stars considered how good the food was relative to price...
      1) French couple sitting right next to me ordered same scallop appetizer. They got 4 scallops. I, along with other American tourists, got 3 scallops.
      2) Waiter never asked us if we wanted coffee. We ordered it right before dessert was served and didn't get it until our dessert was almost over.
      3) Dishonesty. couple next to us were clearly tourists FOA (Fresh off airplane) and asked if tip was included in bill. Waitress said no and walked away with a 15 euro tip. Come on, service was included but if you want to slice and dice English, tip was technically not included. Considered they serve 75% American tourists, that's plain dishonesty. FYI, those waitresses speak very good English.

Holy crap this was amazing. Probably one of my favorite meals in Paris. The pate starter they bring out at the beginning along with sliced bread was delicious.

The squid(?) ink risotto was delicious but really it was the pigeon stuffed with foie gras that was definitely one of the most memorable dishes. It was perfection.

The souffle was beautiful but not my cup of tea. My boyfriend loved it. Warm, light like whipped cream, and you can really taste the Grand Marnier. But I like my souffles to be a little cakier.

If we ever go back we will definitely eat here again.

Run quickly to this wonderful farm to table resto where chef Ollie Clarke will feed you extremely well for 37 euros! Great wine pairings, a kitchen with heart, friendly service. Dedicated to sourcing directly from producers, the dishes are bright, fresh and delicious. Love this french bistronomy that is comfortable and welcoming.

If you aren't already in love with the food in Paris, you need to have a meal at La Regalade. Note, I would encourage you NOT to use the tripadvisor online booking system as it is a third party system and we used it thinking that our reservation had been confirmed but really they have to check with the restaurant and so it is much easier and faster to call the restaurant itself for reservations. Because of this, we had a rocky start to our dinner. We thought we had a reservation and showed up at 8:30pm only to find out that our reservations had not been confirmed. To be fair, we made reservations online a few hours before we left for dinner. Luckily they were able to take us at 9:30pm so we just went for a drink around the corner while we waited for our table to be ready. When we went back to the restaurant, our table was not ready yet, but the manager/waiter working up front gave us pate and pickled gerkins and some bread to snack on. He also poured us a glass of white wine to go along with the snacks. We were very hungry at this point so we were very grateful this very kind gesture!! We were very impressed already by this service!!
We knew we had a pre fix menu with three courses ahead of us so we tried not to gorge ourselves on the bread and pate although it was hard because it was very good!
It gets better. I have found it rare to have a pre fix menu where I have loved each of my courses. Here at La Regalade I was so happy with each of my courses. My starter was a foie gras mousse with creamy mushroom soup. The textures of the soft foam with the velvet cream soup with little crunchy candied walnuts was a wonderful combination. My main entree was lamb that was cooked perfectly and placed on top of cut up potatoes and squash. And for the final piece, I had the chocolate dessert which was rich and decadent. My husband also thoroughly enjoyed his dishes. He had both of the beef cheeks for a starter and entree and he ordered the souffle for dessert. His souffle was a work of art. Not only did it look amazing but it was light and delicious.
La Regalade was a hour away from our hotel via metro but it was well worth the trip and the wait! Reservations are a must! We came here on a Wednesday night and it was packed. When we sat down for dinner close to ten, we saw people were still coming in for dinner!!

One of my most memorable meals in Paris. Quaint, friendly, fast and not stuffy. Really food prix fixe for 35€. We met someone sitting next to me who worked in the same company as me! Their other fave was Chateaubriand. warm inside with brighter lighting than other places.

This was one of the best meals we had in France! A friend recommended this place and she was not wrong. It was out of the touristy area, which was nice. Let me start by saying, I don't eat pate. I think it's gross, but they served a pate that I could eat all day long! It was fantastic! Then the meal came, which was awesome! And at the end we had the rice pudding. My only complaint was that I was so full I couldn't eat as much of it as I wanted! The staff was lovely and gave us an excellent wine recommendation. Over all it was Fantastique!
