We had walked from Plymouth Hoe and around the top to catch the little Cremyll ferry that takes you across to Torpoint and the country park there. we stopped at the Edgcumbe Arms as it looked like a lovely idyllic pub, unfortunately it wasn't as nice as it looked from the outside, don't get me wrong it was OK but that all just OK the selection of beers was adequate but the food I saw being produced didn't look that appealing this was confirmed by another couple who were having something to eat and said they were unimpressed, we didn't eat so I can't give a definite personal opinion. however if you have made the trip across and want a drink unfortunately its 'Hobson's choice' but I've been to a lot worse and honestly its that bad.

An superbly located pub overlooking the river right next to the drop off point on the Cornish side of the Cremyll Ferry. Also right next door to amazing grounds of Mount Edgcumbe, ideal for strolling around to work up your appetite for the even more amazing and excellently valued Carvery served at the edgcumbe arms. Good selection of ciders and ales on tap. Nice friendly staff. Lots of seating inside and quite a few picnic tables perfect for sunny days.
