Dunelm is situated on the appropriately named Skippingdale Industrial Estate, out to the west of the town and quite a bit out of the way. The location is good if you're in the car as it's quiet, but not very convenient otherwise.
The car park is far too small for the busy store, but there's other parking just across the road.
The shop is large and they sell a wide variety of goods, mainly soft furnishings such as bedding, curtains, towels, table linens and fabric on the roll. They also have other household goods like kitchen accessories, lighting and storage.
There's a small cafe which is nice as there isn't a great deal else on the industrial estate, and they are quite reasonably priced.
All in, it's a really nice shop if you're looking to furnish a home on a budget.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Qype User (MBGree…)London, United Kingdom211415 Nov 2008
A really good, traditional in style store. Stocks all those kind of things mainstream stores hardly stock, like curtain liner, blackout material, pickling jars, pins, etc. Good range of bedroom, kitchen, living room, necessities. Also a small cafe but stocks a good range of cakes and decent coffee. Very friendly and helpful staff.

I really like Dunelm. It's a very large and airy store which is perfect for browsing. It sells all manner of house ware, from duvets and bedding to rugs and curtain material. It also sells kitchen ware and has a lighting department. The coffee shop is in an ideal position to sit and people watch and the cakes are absolutely gorgeous! Only downside is the sometimes high price of some items.
