I'm not sure if this is the same one as the one in Florida by the same name but if it is they are both amazing. I went here with about 8 of us and the atmosphere was killer and I can't wait to meet everyone there next Friday. We have all made this our meeting place after not wanting to change for the last two years. food was awesome. I mean every single thing I tried was as good as the previous one and that has never happened to me before at a restaurant because I am so picky.

Exactly 195 steps from the Peabody Hotel! This local corner shop came in handy during my 6 days at the Peabody, a great source for Diet Cokes, fresh fruit, salad, and snacks. I even scored a few bags of fancy local whole bean coffee to give as gifts.

Good COVID precautions in place. Wear your mask. Staff was pleasant and helpful.

The Mrs. and I found City Market, and we split the chicken salad with wheat Berry bread, and it was fabulous, especially because of the delicious bread!! It was soooooo soft, that it felt like it was giving my mouth a great big hug with each bite!! YUM!! It came with plain chips, so they could raise their game a bit there. The fountain was out of order, so we got drinks from the refrigerated area.

Way overpriced and expected some more unique items or at least like an Andronico's, Piazza's or at the very least a Whole Foods. Thoroughly disappointing.

It's a cafe inside a convenience store but can offer a quick bite and some respite from the Memphis heat. Quick in a more southernly sense - of course; don't confuse this with NYC quick. Lots of salads, juices and smoothies on the menu here. We tried the tropical and the green smoothie - not disappointed in our selection. Wanted mango lassi but they were out of mangoes on this day. Smoothies were freshly made - no surprises and no added sugar.

Mediterranean sandwich was big and packed with all the goodies. Blue cheese panini had grilled onions, red and green peppers, sun dried tomatoes - all good, but the flat bread for panini was so-so. They have around 4-5 tables plus stools and sidebars for you to sit and enjoy or grab and go. Prices were moderate - around $28 bucks for two sandwiches and two drinks.

Love this place for a healthy (but not tooooo healthy!) lunch. They have great salads and hot sandwiches. My favorites are the Asian salad and Tuscan powerhouse. The smoothies are also good. I recommend the tropical summer splash. The go green tastes delicious but has a very fiber forward mouth feel they also have drinks and prepared food to get you in and out fast.

I frequent city market at least once a week. My favorite dish is the Tuscan powerhouse sandwich and the omelette (served weekends only) are fantastic. These two dishes were the sole reason for any stars at this location. As far as the grocery selection, it's hit or miss with some items being overpriced but others being surprisingly cheap. Down to the meat of the dining situation: With the exception of one young kitchen staff member, this has to be the rudest group of staff I have ever encountered; to the point that it's comical. On one of my last carry out phone orders they answered the phone with "what choo want?!". Nonetheless, it is certainly a Memphis experience to say the least to interact with these staff members if you are looking for an authentic experience.

Really small selection and prices that make you feel like you're in a vibrant, bustling downtown...even though you're not. Fruits and vegetables were looking a little limp so I left them alone. Picked up some slices of Boarshead cheese at a higher pricepoint than I've ever paid and left. At least I tried to leave. I had to wait for several minutes for someone to show up at the register before I could escape.

One and done on visits to this place.

My friends and I stopped by to grab a quick bite for lunch. Our smoothies were watered down. I ordered a sandwich which had a long strand of hair on it. They made me a new sandwich but kept the same half eaten pickle and chips from my old plate. My other friend found a small hair and requested a new sandwich. The owner was compliant while the cook accused us of lying. Also the BLT had one piece of bacon.

This is the second time I've been in here just because it's the only place that's near by to get a quick snack. Please don't go in here and spend your money!!! all their food is stale and old they don't make anything fresh until they run out and it could be weeks before that happens. I walked in and asked for a detox juice and it took 20 minutes to make then while the employee was making it he touched his face and nose a lot to a degree that I didn't even want it anymore and he kept pulling his pants up not to mention their work station was very dirty.

Sry unsanitary work station where they make the smoothies! had an open container of half eaten rice plus on their phone just nasty!!
