This is a great little authentic Italian restaurant that me and my boyfriend stumbled upon one night.
Everything we ate reminded us of our holiday in Sorrento. I had a gorgeous risotto, by boyfriend had parma ham and melon to start, which he said was really nice.
I had a tiramisu for dessert which was delicious! All in all, it wasn't very expensive, and the waitress and the owner were both very welcoming and friendly. I would definitely return and most definitely would recommend!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Qype User (reyes…)London, United Kingdom51301217 Jun 2010
Great value lunch time menu of starter + main from this Italian restaurant. Fairly quiet during the day so you should be ok to walk in and grab a table.
I strongly recommend the Mozzarella in carrozza starter and Spaghetti Bolognese main doused in chilli oil (you don't have to add chilli oil).
Service is quick and pleasant.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Tom M.London, United Kingdom1114252 Nov 2015
A family run neighborhood restaurant just off the Stamford Brooke Tube station, Caffe Piccolo is a casual Italian restaurant that serves all the classic Italian dishes such as pasta and pizza. I went for the specials of the day, deep fried risotto ball with mozzarella cheese was decent with a mild and finely tomato sauces dressing. However the main of lamb shank was far under seasoned, and while the rice was blended heavily with larger amount of dill, it still tasted of nothing and one would wonder how fresh are the ingredients...
