So many Pho options in Paris it's hard to choose. CHOOSE THIS ONE.

There are two locations, I went to the smaller one on Rue Thouin, so if you're looking for the one I'm reviewing, you'll know it by the size. It's has about 5 tables and seated you can see the woman in the kitchen cooking. The man serving us, who I assume is the owner and the cook is the wife?, was a delight. He was so determined to make our meal the best possible, checking up on us as much as possible. We started with the pork pancakes, which were by far the best I've ever tasted. Their pho was on point, much better than the kind we had in Paris' Chinatown (Pho 14).

Just a warning, the Pho in Paris tends to use more cinnamon than we're used to in the States. But Bonjour Vietnam did it in a way to make it work.

After living in San Jose for 20 years - the bar for decent Vietnamese is very high.
Small place ( room for 12 people ).
      Authentic styling.
The shrimp egg rolls were OK.
Beef and rice was decent ( ordered Pho Tai Bo vien - got this instead - my bad )

Need to go back for Pho...

Pho was pretty good. I recommend the the clear broth soup w/ shrimp etc however...

The ladies up front were very nice and sweet.

What the Pho you looking at?

I think the name of the place has changed to "Restaurant Vietnamien Mouffetard Saigon's."

This place was really good. All 4 of my party licked our plates clean and were happy with the taste & quality of the dishes. I recommend any of the soups or sticky rice dishes.

I'd love to give this place 5 stars, but we were charged 6€ for a 4€ bottle of water that we didn't even want (we asked for tap water in both english and french, but it was already open when we received it; after a minute of trying to explain we decided it wasn't worth our time for 2€).

Three of us came for a late lunch after phoning ahead to reserve a table. We did not fail to notice when we arrived that the restaurant has a "Yelp loves us" sticker on the front door. As explained in other reviews, there are only a handful of tables. There's a 12-euro lunch menu, but most people seemed to have noodle soups in front of them. (The soups aren't on the menu.)

I ate the Hue soup, which is the unique soup whose ingredients were not detailed on the menu. When I asked what the soup was, our server (who seems to be the owner) warned me that it was stinky, pinching his nose with his fingers on the process. This gesture stiffened my resolve to order the soup -- the choice was only tentative when I inquired about the ingredients. I'm sorry to say that I still don't know what was in the soup. I can report, however, that the soup was rich and flavorful. Moreover, it was at most vaguely stinky -- despite a repetition of the nose gesture when my order was brought to the table. I recommend it!

One of our diners asked for a soup with no meat (understanding nonetheless that the broth was made with beef). Bonjour Vietnam did a good job of responding to this request.

When I first came to Paris, many years ago, I read about a Vietnamese restaurant on the rue Thouin where Ho Chi Minh was said to have been a waiter during his student years. I wonder whether that old restaurant was at the current Thouin location of Bonjour Vietnam.

Did they change the restaurant's name? In any case, i went to the restaurant at this address and the bo bun was very good! I've tried many vietnamese restaurants in
paris and i think i like this place and Paris Hanoi near bastille the best.

The owner(?)/manager here was very courteous. I think he speaks english, too. The "formule midi" is a pretty good deal with decent portions.
Will come back for dinner sometime.

Their Pho Ga (chicken soup) was the best I have ever had. The shrimp spring rolls were delicious as well. Both were very fresh and light. After a few days of eating rich french food, you need a break from cream, butter, cheese and meat. Bonjour Vietnam was the perfect thing for a stomach like mine, sensitive to too much fat.
My only reason for not giving it 5 stars is that it is a little pricy. I am from San Francisco where you can get 2 large (so big I cant event finish half) pho ga's and shrimp spring rolls for under $25. 1 Petite Pho ga and 1 Regular size, please shrimp rolls at Bonjour Vietnam was 32 Euros- and it was about 2/3 the amount of food we normally get.

On our second night in Paris we walked in crossing our fingers that we would get some great Vietnamese food and our expectations were more then met! The food was so good we went back two more times before we left! The place sits next to a great square in the 5th that is great for people watching and surrounded by other bars and restaurants with hip vibes and great decor. The service was great and please note that both Bonjour Vietnams are owned by the same people and don't forget to look closely at the shot glass before you take your free shot!

Forget Chinatown in Paris. Just come here and get a better Vietnamese meal. Awesome food but the place is small and your clothes will smell after your meal. There is another location on Rue de Cardinal Lemoine which has bigger space and the food is just as good.

The service was very standard for a vietnamese family. The place is very small so either get there early or make a reservation. There is only like 5 tables there. The pancake minced pork is outstanding and must be tried. I had fish w hot chili sauce but it was more Thai style so I would not go that route again here. We also had a soup which extremely delicious.
