This amazing hotel is located on the shore of Lake Geneva in Lausanne, Switzerland. It is incredibly luxurious, one of the finest hotels in which I have ever stayed in the world. It has fantastic restaurants too. A significant feature that really makes this hotel impressive is the very high level of service provided by every staff member. It seemed like a well-dressed staff member just appeared out of nowhere every time I had a need or a question. The breakfast buffet was also beyond comparison. My husband, several friends and I loved staying at the Beau Rivage.
Tip: Get a room with the spectacular view of Lake Geneva.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - 30 Dec 2018
This is one of the beautiful grand old hotels in Europe with a gorgeous location on the shores of Lac Leman and a breathtaking view of the French Alps. Service is excellent and the decor inside the hotel and rooms is magnificent. From my perspective, it might be a better hotel for leisure travelers. Much of what makes the hotel beautiful also makes it less efficient for business travelers. The bathroom is so large that the towel rack is on the opposite side from the shower. Breakfast is fantastic, but isn't quick. I certainly highly recommend the Beau-Rivage Palace for tourists visiting Lausanne. For business travelers, I might also suggest considering the more modern, but also more efficient Movenpick Hotel.

Possibly the prettiest hotel I've ever stayed at. We stayed in the palace wing which was recently renovated. Beautiful views, quiet room, outstanding service. Very comfortable and posh.

Gorgeous hotel overlooking Lake Geneva. Spectacular rooms, great decor, beautiful views of the lake. My bathroom was all marble and as big as my living room! Service is impeccable and always polite. Great bar, especially when Keanu Reeves is sitting in there (an extra star here) like I said, hotel with great views!!!!!

It is an old standard, definitely the last standing grand-hotel in the region (together with the Palace hotel). The foods and drinks at the café are unsurprisingly decent, although not outstanding or particularly original for the price. In summer, it is crowded with tourists - including whole families with screaming kids that nobody disciplines - it ruins your 50CHF happy hour.... In winter, it is crowded with somewhat less tourists, but then the outside is not available - and it is lovely. So now you have it, pros and cons.
Parking is a total b**** around Ouchy, but that is not a problem if you stay in the hotel. Views are great (but are just as beautiful from other, less tourist-oriented spots around the lake!).Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Qype User (Samant…)London, United Kingdom0112 May 2011
