When I travelled to London last year for a wedding I was not prepared. Luckily I found this place and decided to give them a try. I'm so glad I did. They were fast, well priced, and most importantly GOOD. Everyone commented on how good I looked at the wedding, and I felt like someone rich and important lol. Definitely try them if you need your clothes altered. They're tops!

Do not go to these guys for your wedding dress alterations!

I brought my Anna Campbell dress and not only did they do a shonky job on the hemline (it was wavy, not straight!!!) they put in very inferior cups for the chest area. The lady that looked after me didn't speak much English so didn't know how to dress me and was tying the knots at the back not as bows (as they should be) but as though it was a Sainsbury's plastic bag.

They clearly don't know how alter a wedding dress, nor do they take their job seriously. I paid £150 for the lot only to have to pay the same price again to another tailor to have to re-do the lot.

I'm just glad that another alterations place could help out instead. Not only did they spend the necessary time to pin it properly, they knew EXACTLY what was needed for a dress and gave it the love that it deserved.

Alterations Boutique was an utter disappointment, don't go there unless you want to throw money away and be disappointed with the end result.

They saved my dress that was ruined by a cheaper alterations company. Thankfully they did this on short notice. I have learnt the hard lesson to pay a little more for saving time, getting my dress back in a good condition and being in safe hands of an experience tailor. But alas you do pay for good service, which I cannot fault, thank you for all our help and professionalism.... a note for others to follow the same standard.

Very friendly and clean alterations done as quickly as same day if willing to pay 50% more. Accept credit cards as well. Best part is that they are open until 9pm Tues-Friday which makes pick up easier!

My last review "Huge Disappointment - Escalating Charges" was on 30/1/17. I said I would post a followup. In the end the job for which was quoted £80 was completed well at a total cost of £170. When he saw my earlier review the owner Raul called me, appologised profusely and offered me a full refund which I have declined. When I was in the shop another customer came in to collect a leather jacket and he was entirely satisfied with his repair. Raul says his card is on the counter and any customer who has a complaint should contact him. Notwithstanding the offer of a full refund, I still feel I was scammed - but perhaps if I had contacted Raul when the original job was botched I might have had a more satisfactory outcome.

Extremely professional staff. Customer service at a high level. Reacted very promptly to my request to alter the dress I had planned to wear at my sister's wedding. The result was fabulous! Had a great time at the wedding thanks to you Alternations Boutique!

A high profile friend suggested I try this shop. My demands were high as the undertaking was to take charge of all of the outfits for my wedding and with no less than 12 people to fit this required a lot of intricate tailoring, not to mention bead work and I must say, Alterations Boutique carried out this work beyond my expectations and my wedding was an outright success. I would recommend their service to anyone. I would say that some tailoring can require adjustments and a bit of tweaking here and there and this may mean more than one fitting, I couldn't have asked for more.
